Since 18 November 2025, every company director and person with significant control must verify their identity with Companies House. Existing directors must complete this before their company’s next confirmation statement, and the transition period closes on 18 November 2026. A company cannot file its confirmation statement at all if a director has not verified, which blocks every other filing behind it.
